Belarus to bear responsibility for security and economic integration in the Eurasian space

1 декабря 2019
The representative of our state Stanislav Zas will take up the responsible post of Secretary General of the CSTO,  and in February Belarus will take over the presidency of the Eurasian Economic Union. At the same time, the country will have the right to appoint its Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission for four years. Next year the republic will chair the Supreme State Council of the Union State and co-chair in the CIS.

It turns out that in the near future our country will bear a serious burden of responsibility for security and economic integration in Eurasia. And the official Minsk takes this mission very seriously.

Alexander Lukashenko did not hide that the proposal to nominate Mikhail Miasnikovich for the post of the head of the EEC Board was thoroughly analyzed and prepared. "You're the only one who can do this," said the President  to Mikhail Myasnikovich.

The Head of State has made a decision to appoint Dmitry Krutoy, Minister of Economy, as First Deputy Prime Minister, and Alexander Turchin, who currently holds this post, the Chairman of  Minsk City Executive Committee.
