Normandy Four meeting makes headline news in international media

The agreements reached in the Belarusian capital are analyzed by the world’s leading media, such as The Guardian and Independent, BBC, Euronews, The New York Times, Deutsche Welle and La Stampa.

According to Google statistics, about 5,000 articles containing the title word "Minsk” appeared on the websites of news portals, agencies and broadcasters within 24 hours after the Normandy Four meeting. More than 2,000 videos have been downloaded to Youtube. By the end of the week the number of articles dedicated to the peace talks in the Belarusian capital exceeded 8,000. The number of videos exceeded 14,000.

The Minsk meeting is described as “a huge breakthrough”, “an excellent result” and “an important meeting”. The successful talks are welcomed by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier, European heads of states and governments, EU and US Foreign Ministers, including European Council President Donald Tusk, Spokesperson for the United States Department of State Jen Psaki and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
