On Friday, Deputy Prime Minister Michail Rusy reported to the President on the progress of the harvesting campaign on the basis of one of the households in the capital region.
Within the last week farmers reached 2 million tons of grain. Yields are higher this year in comparison with the previous year.
The highest yield is in the Grodno region: more than 41 quintals per hectare. Then come the Brest region - 36 quintals per hectare, the Minsk region - 35,5, the Mogilev region - 31.5, the Gomel region - 30.6. The Vitebsk region completes the table with a yield of 30 quintals per hectare.
