Belarus and Georgia intend to double mutual trade and reach $ 200 million by 2020. This was agreed upon this week by businessmen and officials. First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kumsishvili paid a visit to Minsk.
The spheres of mutual interest were identified at the talks in the Government House. Today this includes not only simple trade, but also the creation of joint ventures. This year, Georgians intend to open their trading house in Belarus. After all, Georgia has 7 stores with our food products. Another project is the creation of a breeding center. Our partner shows interest in our special equipment for overcoming emergencies and for Stadler trains.
The development of air communication and more convenient logistics for manufacturers will be discussed in March at a large-scale meeting in Tbilisi. A Georgian-Belarusian business forum and a business council meeting will be held there.
