Belarus and Zimbabwe launched a joint program to mechanize the agricultural sector of the African country. Our manufacturers will provide South Africa with all the necessary range of agricultural machinery. The contract amount is over $50 million. Our delegation arrived in Zimbabwe to participate in the launch of the program. The agricultural sector, along with mining, are vital in the region. Our agricultural machines were already delivered 2 years ago. The next step is to create a service center for Belarusian enterprises. It opened in Harare the day before.
The Development Bank opens a line of credit to African partners. Similar projects with Tanzania, Kenya, Angola and other African countries are considered.
