President of Belarus meets with Council of Ministers

Drafts of the most important documents on improving the system of public administration and regulating economic relations are being discussed with the President today.

The meeting is attended by key representatives of the power vertical who are responsible for the economy. This format of work has long become a practice together with the government. It's worth considering the accumulated issues once a month. Whatever topics are on the agenda, the requirements of the Head of State remain unchanged.

Another draft decree concerns the amendment of the legislation on holdings, which will improve their work. There are about a hundred holdings in the country, which are under their jurisdiction. They unite 650 enterprises. Suggestions affect many and should be beneficial. Another issue brought up for discussion is a new form of postgraduate training for doctors. The President voiced legitimate questions in this regard. The government also has proposals for regulating the work of individual entrepreneurs and self-employed. Alexander Lukashenko has repeatedly spoken about the need to put things in order in this area.
