Grain harvest is enough for both domestic consumption and exports

This opinion was expressed by Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Leonid Zayats during his working trip to the Gomel region. It should be noted that the region is in the lead in terms of harvest, and the harvest may set a record. To date, the country has harvested approximately 9% of the area devoted to cereals and legumes. The total amount of milled grain is 660 thousand tons. According to experts, crop yields are higher this year in comparison with last year's figure by 4.5 centners per hectare.
