In order not to allow disruptions in the supply of products and promptly complete the sowing of winter crops. The relevant food and agrarian issues were discussed at the Palace of Independence. In late September the government was instructed to intensify work in the fields. This year the work has been delayed due to adverse weather conditions. Alexander Lukashenko demanded to work in the field 24/7, literally non-stop. Timely work is a matter of future harvest and food security. This year Belarus has increased the exports of foodstuffs.
Harvesting of the crops remaining in the fields is going on as usual. Winter crops are planned to be sown within the next few days. There will be no shortage of products in trade. Moreover, the export of food products for eight months increased by 10%, as compared to last year. It is noteworthy that the pace has not decreased in the direction of Europe, and our southern neighbor, Ukraine, does not buy less.
