Half of the drugs in pharmacies of the country shall be produced in Belarus. The Head of State set the task to provide the national market with Belarusian medicines and to enter foreign markets. By the end of this year, Belarusian manufacturers plan to export products in the amount of $ 170 million. This is 17 million more than last year. Import substitution is actively carried out in the country.
Over the past 7 years, more than 900 new types of drugs have been introduced into the domestic market. Now Belarusian antitumor medication is being registered in the Republic of Korea, which will allow increasing the volume of supplies to the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.
