The free economic zone in Alexandria is the gateway for Belarusian exports to the entire continent. Gomselmash is ready to enter the market. The first sample of a combine harvester is being assembled here. The Egyptians are trained by Gomselmash specialists.
The joint production of trucks has officially opened in Cairo. The previously announced capacity of the Belarusian-Egyptian joint venture is 300 cars per year. However, due to the number of orders the figure has almost doubled.
It is planned to gradually increase the localization of the joint venture to 40%, which will allow MAZ entering neighboring markets.
Another promising niche is the communal equipment. In May last year, a dealer agreement was signed between Amkodor and the Kader Factory for Developing Industries.
On the basis of the Egyptian company, five Belarusian loaders have already been assembled. In addition, there is great interest in the creation of a joint venture with Bobruiskagromash.
