Yesterday, a business forum with the participation of top managers of large companies took place in New Delhi. The event was attended by 150 businessmen from India. The Government of Belarus promised to support the development of joint projects. As a result, 10 agreements have been reached, including one on pharmaceuticals. In Belarus, there are three enterprises with Indian capital that produce medicines – in Skidel, Beshenkovichi and Kaliadichi. In the coming two years, the production of drugs for cancer, hepatitis and tuberculosis will be launched.
Also, important agreements were signed with Bobruiskagromash and Gomselmash. A joint venture was set up to produce agricultural machinery and combines. Belkommunmash is also planning to enter the Indian market and supply its electric buses.
