The Belarusian industry has grown by 8% since the beginning of the year. There is demand at foreign markets and the profitability of sales is growing. Our country did not shut down conveyors even during hard times, when pandemics stopped many economies of the world, we continued to work both for the domestic market and for the external ones. And when the borders opened, the demand for Belarusian goods began to grow. Besides, working enterprises mean stable income every month.

Today, we are looking for new markets, discussing joint cooperation projects and even upgrading the existing production facilities. Large-scale modernization of the oil-refining plant is a proof of that. This year, Belarus is planning to completely finish the renovation of two refineries, Mozyr and Naftan. The President spoke about it at the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. Mozyr has already increased the volume of oil refining and is nearing the completion of a new site.

Technical re-equipment of our major enterprises enables them to be competitive in the world markets. Moreover, if the commodity is in high demand and in high price, it is necessary to take into account the trends and keep up with them. New units and equipment increase the quality of refining, the range of products, and the volume of output.

The capacities of all our refineries are fully loaded, and there are no problems with the supply of raw materials. Belarus is aimed at development, even in such difficult times, when much stronger economies cannot withstand the pandemic. They do not shut down the existing production facilities and plan not just to keep them afloat, but even to upgrade them on a large scale.
