Fr om twinning ties to new contracts and even more cultural exchange. The official program of the 5th Forum of the regions of Belarus and Russia opens in Mogilev today. And on October 12, President Alexander Lukashenko will take part in the main events. It is expected that more than 2 thousand diplomats, heads of enterprises, businessmen will take part in the Forum.
The organizers talk about the 5th Forum as the most large-scale event. About fifty activists of public associations, trade unions will visit large enterprises of the region, and the signing of a number of bilateral cooperation agreements is planned. For example, between Grodno and Pskov Regions, Minsk and Bryansk.
The meetings will continue on Thursday. The parliamentarians of the two countries will discuss the issues of "agrarian policy of the Union state" and economic security.
The participants of the Forum are expected to have a big concert program with the participation of Belarusian and Russian performers.
The Forum will conclude on 12 October with a plenary meeting, wh ere the diplomats of the two countries will discuss the priority directions of development of regional cooperation as a key factor of integration and Union construction.
