The main forum of the food industry was launched in Minsk today. The Exhibition - Fair Prodexpo gathered the best manufacturers from around the country. Foreign delegations present their products as well. There are 220 exhibitors in total. By the way, the entrance is free for visitors. The program of the forum includes competitions, culinary events and tastings. Such forums help improve the quality and competitiveness of the entire industry, and give the possibility to properly assess the situation on the market.
Food exports bring a stable income to the country. This year we plan to earn at least $ 2 billion. Our products are traditionally welcomed on the tables of neighboring Russia. But we look in other directions as well.

Export growth to Georgia is plus 70 percent this year. In September, the first shop of Belarusian products opened Tbilisi. The second one will be opened in two weeks.
