The working group on business simplification led by First Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Matyushevsky has today discussed the possibility of amending the decree on licensing. The document currently applies to 36 types of activities. New approaches put forward during the discussion, include, for example, preserving licensing only for certain activities related to health care and economic security and abolishing the concept of gross violation.
The number of licensed activities in Belarus has been reduced by 1.5-fold over the past four years.
