Today the construction of the first residential building in the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone has begun. According to the general plan, more than 120 thousand people will live on the territory adjacent to the Park. Thus, the Great Stone will become a satellite city of Minsk.
The first residential building will welcome new settlers next year, and in 5 years a whole residential block for 10 thousand people will appear here.
The six-storey building with an area of about 13.5 thousand square meters will accommodate not only residential, but also public facilities: a clinic, a post office, a bank, shops and beauty salons. The main criteria are comfort, safety and environmental friendliness.
Virtually all materials for the construction of the building will be those of domestic production, Belarusian builders will also be involved.
39 companies have already become residents of the Great Stone, and the third production has been opened. The Park is developing and expanding, and therefore the construction of a residential quarter is a vital issue.
