Belarus to submit proposals to European Commission for coordination of digital projects

Heads of the Ministries of Communications of Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine have conducted negotiations in Minsk within the framework of the dialogue. A roadmap for the Eastern Partnership countries will have been created by the end of the year. By the end of 2020 an agreement on harmonization of prices for roaming of cellular communications will be signed. After that the document will be considered in Brussels.

In July Belarus will submit proposals to the European Commission for the coordination of digital projects.

Tomorrow is the second day of ministerial dialogues with participation of foreign ministers of the Eastern Partnership countries. The meeting will also be devoted to harmonization of the digital markets of the EU and six partner countries. They will pay attention to cybersecurity and the development of broadband Internet. By the way, the main topic at the ministerial meetings in June 2015 was ecology.
