This week, the V Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia demonstrated the real points of growth of the allied economies. A new benchmark for both countries was set: $ 50 billion of commodity turnover. Successful implementation of Mogilev agreements will contribute to the achievement of these goals.
Nearly eight dozen regional agreements and a portfolio of contracts for half a billion dollars plus mutually beneficial contacts. These are preliminary results of the past forum. Over 70 contracts for the supply of equipment to the regions of Russia were concluded by MTZ, BelAZ, Bobruiskagromash and Gomselmash. This is more than 380 million dollars. For the next three years, the issue has been resolved with the supply of Mogilev elevators: two thousand units per year.
We will supply petrochemical products to our neighbors for 12 billion Russian rubles. The forum raised the issue of oil balances. Russia has already transferred $ 263 million from the so-called oil refining for Belarus this week.
More than 8 thousand enterprises of Belarus and Russia are connected by production cooperation. We have more than three thousand enterprises with Russian capital. Fifty joint assemblies work in the neighboring country. The modern economy is built on cooperation.
Belarus cooperates today with almost all Russian regions. The leaders are Moscow and St. Petersburg, Smolensk and Tyumen, Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, Bryansk and Kaluga.
Belarus and Russia have finally confirmed and signed the trade balances for the next year. Meat supplies will increase by 11%, and milk deliveries by almost 3%.
The expert do not doubt the quality of Belarusian food. Integrated traceability systems, electronic veterinary certificates - everything is done for exceptional product safety. In total, the partner in the Union State accounts for about half of Belarusian exports.
The neighboring countries have common goals. One of the priorities is digitalization. Internet technologies make the economy superindustrial.
The site of the Forum of Regions is needed primarily to ensure that the emerging issues are resolved faster, more efficiently. This good tradition has already become the most significant annual event in the Union State. Therefore, the President proposes to devote the next Forum of Regions to young people.
The Forum of Regions is measured not only by contracts. Perhaps the most important thing is that Mogilev this week has become the capital of holiday and friendship. It is difficult to find something more valuable than good neighborly relations and a high level of trust both on the political map and between business partners and nations.
