By Olga Anischenko: Belarus is preparing a strategy for the development of small and medium-sized businesses. The document will become a roadmap for business development until 2030.
This was stated today in Minsk at the largest international forum of the year. The forum opened Global Entrepreneurship Week, which brought together 170 countries. The main theme of the forum is the promotion of start-ups as an indispensable condition for a growing and competitive economy.
The forum has already adopted a new format for generating business ideas – the so-called hackathon. This is a platform for developing innovative solutions in the sphere of administrative procedures. Various teams offer their ideas that will make it easier to do business. Last year, the competition of innovative ideas was won by an online platform where entrepreneurs can discuss and comment on all the normative legal acts that are under development and thus they can influence the laws that are soon to be introduced. The Ideas 2017 will be heard here very soon, and the best one will get a chance to become reality.
