The joint Belarusian-Chinese plant should fully close the cycle of wood processing in the country. This was stated by Head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov. Talks with the leaders of the Chinese companies involved in joint projects with Belarus were held in Beijing.
A key theme was the automobile industry. Andrei Kobyakov was demonstrated the vehicles to be produced in Borisov. The investors expect the enterprise to have the capacity of 10,000 cars a year.
Another important joint project is the construction of the Hotel Beijing in Minsk. The hotel must be put into operation by the start of the World Hockey Championship.
In general, Andrei Kobyakov sees great potential in the relations between Belarus and China. Last year, the mutual trade turnover amounted to 3 billion dollars.
