Testing the power system with the disconnection of cross-border transmission lines with Lithuania began in Belarus today. The work is being carried out to check the reliability of our system, taking into account the withdrawal of the Baltic states from the BRELL energy ring, which unites Belarus, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The test program is to turn off and turn on high-voltage lines, assess the operating modes of power centers, and observe how the system copes in various conditions.
