Goat development center to appear in Minsk Region

Director of the goat farm near Dzerzhinsk Dmitry Krylov plans to receive a thousand tons of goat milk per year. An ambitious project will be implemented by the end of 2020. Spacious hangars for one and a half thousand heads are already ready, now an automated milking complex is under construction. The so-called carousel will be able to serve 500 animals at a time.

Dmitry Krylov, director of the farm: "In 2017, we decided to create a modern center for the development of goat breeding, which will include artificial insemination and transplantation of embryos for accelerated breeding of highly productive animals, and all modern approaches for the maintenance of small cattle, in particular goats."

The old farm building will be converted into a mini-factory, where they can process 5 tons of milk per day. By the way, the goat milk has less lactose, much more vitamins and it is considered hypoallergenic.
