The trade turnover between Belarus and Brazil for nine months amounted to almost $700 million - twice as much as last year. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Valeri Mitskevich during a meeting with the Secretary for International Relations of the Brazilian Workers' Party, Romenio Peraira. The Latin American country is traditionally one of our top ten trading partners in the world and has become one of the main buyers of Belarusian fertilizers.
Today, one of the important areas that the Brazilian leadership is engaged in is strengthening the role of BRICS in the international arena. In the near future, it would be quite natural to see Belarus as a member of the association, the Brazilian parliamentarian emphasized.
