Customs Code of the EEU ratified by all Member States

The last signature was put by the President of Kyrgyzstan. Earlier, the relevant documents were signed by the leaders of Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Russia. Notification of the ratification of the new Customs Code have been sent by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.

A similar document from Kyrgyzstan is expected in the near future. In accordance with the agreements of the heads of state, the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union shall enter into force on January 1, 2018 and replace the Customs Code of the Customs Union of 2010. Among the main innovations are the transition to electronic declaration, remote interaction of participants in foreign economic activity with customs authorities via the Internet.
