Refinancing rate to be reduced to 11% in Belarus

On Wednesday, 18 October, the refinancing rate in Belarus drops from 11.5% to 11% per annum. The decision was taken in late September following the results of the quarterly meeting on the forecasts of the situation in the economy. It was also noted that the inflation rate continues to slow down. In August, the annual increase in consumer prices fell to 5.3%.
