The most active regions are Slutsk, Kopyl, and Nesvizh Districts. The next in line are Borisov and Pukhovichi Districts. At present, the total volume of Central Region exceeds 200,000 tons of grain. The average yield is 35 quintals per hectare. All the grain then enters grain drying systems, and here, the works goes non-stop. The governing principle of this year’s campaign is no losses. Particular attention is paid to harvesting wheat – it is this grain that will serve as the staple food for the coming year.
In total this summer, more than 2,000 combine harvesters work on the fields of Minsk Region. At the same time, the process of second mowing of grass forages is coming to an end.
