Today Minsk hosted the 5th meeting of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Indonesian joint commission on trade, economic and technical cooperation. It was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Valentin Rybakov and his Indonesian counterpart Diana TryansIya Gianni. Following the meeting, the sides signed an agreement on trade and economic cooperation and a memorandum of contacts between news agencies of Belarus and Indonesia.
Belarus' main exports to Indonesia are potash and mining machinery. Belarusian enterprises take part in tenders for the supply of passenger urban transport in Jakarta.
