First negotiations within framework of Belarusian-Lithuanian economic forum to take place in Klaipeda today

The Belarusian delegation headed by the Prime Minister of Belarus arrived in the port town earlier. Recently the economic dialogue between the two countries has been developing dynamically and is acquiring the nature of strategic partnership.


 


Andrei Laptenok reports: The forum will start its work in an hour. A total of about 300 representatives of business and state authorities of the two countries will participate in the forum.


The Head of the Belarusian delegation – Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich – arrived in Klaipeda yesterday and began with visiting the sea port. And today Mikhail Myasnikovich will open the forum with his Lithuanian partner – Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius.


The main goal of the event is to remove obstacles for business between Lithuania and Belarus.
