The government plans to take additional measures to diversify and increase the volume of exports. The Council of Ministers examined today the implementation of the National Export Development Program. The program’s objectives were not reached last year.
Exports amounted to 43.6 billion dollars instead of the planned 66.2 billion. This year the country plans to earn almost $53 billion. This objective requires a number of urgent measures. Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov reminded of the requirements of the Head of State aimed at diversifying exports and searching for new markets.
