Restrictions on the target purchase of currency by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs have been lifted. Now businesses and businessmen can buy currency only if they need it. The terms of its use are not established. At the same time, legal entities and entrepreneurs need to specify the direction for which the purchase of funds is necessary. However, this is purely statistical. The National Bank notes, that the removal of currency restrictions will give business greater freedom of action.
The changes will allow harmonizing the currency legislation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and will form the preconditions for the subsequent cancellation of other restrictions. Today it became known that the World Bank predicts continued growth of the Belarusian economy in the next three years.
