Roman Golovchenko: Belarus is going to take retaliatory measures if Lithuania stops transit of fertilizers

22 декабря 2021
Belarus will take retaliatory measures if Lithuania stops transit of Belarusian fertilizers. This was stated today by our Prime Minister. Roman Golovchenko stressed that such actions by Lithuania violate all international obligations. Belarusian exports to this country amount to about one billion dollars, and these are mainly raw materials that Lithuanian companies buy for further processing. This applies to wood processing, polymers. And if Belarus stops supplying these goods and goes to other markets, the Lithuanian government will have to solve these problems.

Already today it is clear that Lithuania has harmed itself by refusing to buy Belarusian power for political reasons, which would have cost it at least twice cheaper.
