This was announced today by Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov at a meeting with the President of the Board of Directors of Kenyan companies Sameer Group. Our country expects to significantly increase trade with Kenya. (Last year it was about 18 million dollars). Kenya now has ambitious development programs in agriculture, food security and road infrastructure and Belarus is ready to offer its advanced technologies, equipment and services.
Andrei Kobyakov, Prime Minister of Belarus: "Belarusian products are already well known on the African continent for their reliability, ease of operation and attractive prices, we supply machinery to virtually all African regions. In my opinion, Belarusian offers are beneficial."
"Sameer Group" unites 15 companies that have been working in East Africa for more than 30 years in such areas as agriculture, finance, insurance and banking, automotive industry, construction and power.
