The work of the Belarusian real sector in the current conditions has shown the effectiveness of the chosen course. Our production facilities continued to operate and sell. The situation in the Belarusian economy is under control.

The work of industry and improving the well-being of people have always been a priority of the state. One of the constant questions from labor collectives is the level of wages. We need to increase not only labor productivity and export supplies, but also reduce cost, improve quality, and thus win a competition. This means taking into account all current trends.

Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko studied the situation at BATE Borisov plant today.

BATE has been known since the late 50s. BATE, as a holding company, combines 11 enterprises.

Even if the car components went off the assembly line without failures, the drop in sales was felt by all market players. There is demand abroad. The partners are still the same: Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan. The Prime Minister says: we must think ahead. This is primarily about the European consumer. We need to increase production efficiency. The state is ready to support it.

The implementation of any project depends on the personality of the manager and his demands. Brand success is always a team effort.

This is important to take into account competition in the market, which is only growing. The President reminded about this the day before.

Orsha enterprises received special conditions for development. The region is under constant control of the country's leadership. The Presidential Decree gave an impetus to the development. The document has been working for a year and a half. Special conditions helped enterprises to recover from losses while retaining their labor collectives. The number of investment projects has increased significantly, for example, Legmash plant, which is part of the BMZ holding. Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Nazarov visited it today. The average salary is more than a thousand rubles.

Minsk is the largest industrial center in the country. Production revenue is about a third of the capital's total budget.

Labor productivity has increased at Minsk Wallpaper Factory. More than half of the products are sent abroad, but traditional markets have closed due to the pandemic.

Victor Kaspa, head of the concern "Bellesbumprom": "This factory has always been profitable. There may be some difficulties, some financial dependence. Paper is the product of seasonal demand. We will correct the shortcomings that have emerged."

Head of the Commission of the Council of the Republic Sergei Rachkov met with the factory workers. One of the tasks of parliamentarians is to help collectives move forward at the legislative level or implement their own experience and give a ready-made solution.

Today, the state pays special attention to the development of enterprises throughout the country.
