The prospects of bilateral cooperation were discussed today in the Government House. Belarus is ready to build an ice arena and a biathlon stadium in Georgia. According to the Prime Minister of Belarus, our country has enough experience and competence to implement such projects. Partners from Tbilisi were interested in the development of regions. Georgia is our important partner in Transcaucasia. Belarus expects to intensify bilateral contacts in industry, agriculture, petrochemistry, pharmaceuticals and the humanities. The countries plan to double mutual trade in the near future and reach 200 million dollars.

After the negotiations in the Council of Ministers, the Georgian delegation headed by Irakli Kobakhidze went to the Museum of the Great Patriotic War. The parliamentarians familiarized themselves with the history of the museum, studied the main expositions (including the military equipment) and talked to the scientific staff.
