These days the delegation led by head of the company Wang Jiong is visiting Belarus. The investment portfolio of this Chinese corporation is impressive: the famous Bird's Nest - the main stadium of the Olympics in Beijing, social housing in Angola, high-speed highway in Algeria and much more. Branches of the company are presented all over the world - Latin America, Iran, Russia, Central Asia and Africa. The Chinese corporation is also represented in Belarus. Among the largest projects are the BelGee plant and modernization of the Orsha Flax Factory. The visit of the head of the company to Belarus is a vivid example of the evolution of relations: from loans to direct investment and production cooperation.

The foundation of successful activities of CITIC Group is a strategic partnership of official Minsk and Beijing. The parties have repeatedly stressed that strengthening and development of bilateral friendship and cooperation are the best tribute to the historical past of two peoples who know the value of peace and openly look to the future.

The current visit is an opportunity to evaluate the implementation of the agreements reached earlier.

The list of Belarusian projects of CITIC Group includes turn-key construction of three cement plants, construction of a multifunctional complex along the Pobediteley Avenue in Minsk, modernization of the Orsha Flax Factory, and the already operating BelGee plant.

Over the past 12 years, Chinese investments totaling more than $ 2 billion have been attracted to the Belarusian economy. The share of China in the total volume of capital investments has increased by more than 2.5 times compared to 2013. Chinese partners note that the CITIC Group regards Belarus as a kind of a springboard for the future development of its business in Europe.

Amkodor-Mash is the future Belarusian-Chinese enterprise for the production of special equipment. By 2021 it will have become the leading company in the country with a full cycle of manufacturing front and universal loaders. 6000 machines are planned to be produced per year. 1 350 new jobs will be created.

The most important project of bilateral cooperation between Minsk and Beijing is the Great Stone Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park.

Of the 33 residents of the park, 17 are companies from China. Next year, the first samples of equipment will be assembled here by the CITIC Group Corporation. The company will specialize in the production of robots. Smart cars will be able to work in the auto mode on fires and in other emergency situations. The task is to minimize human casualties. According to partners' estimates, up to 70% of production will be supplied to European markets. Today the Chinese company was officially registered in the industrial park Great Stone.

The head of the corporation announced an agreement on expansion of cooperation in other areas, such as construction of a new production facility for deep processing of agricultural products and creation of an organization for providing financial services.
