The President demands to analyze the downward trend in retail outlets in rural areas. Alexander Lukashenko said this at the General Meeting of the Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Societies.
More than 40 000 people work in consumer cooperation organizations. The services cover the needs of a third of the country's population. Reforms are going on. Among the key tasks is reaching profitability, automating business processes! According to Alexander Lukashenko, the Union is one of the positive examples of successful public-private partnerships, which works for the benefit of people! However, a new quality level needs to be achieved!
The President demanded to suppress any violations in the work of rural shops. Negligence and trade in delays should be excluded! Effective control over price education is needed! Unjustified price increases, especially for socially significant goods, are unacceptable. Specific instructions were voiced.
The President proposed to develop a segment of Internet trade. Special attention is also paid to the development of exports. The organizations of the Union of Consumer Societies supply products to 20 countries and 33 regions of Russia. Markets are being diversified and new niches are being searched. A strategy for the development of consumer cooperation in the regions is being worked out.
The total volume of activities of the Union for 8 months is a little over two billion rubles. The average salary in the consumer cooperation system is a little over 760 rubles.
