The Belarusian President paid an official visit to Chisinau a week ago and gave Moldova a couple of tractors as a gift. The local authorities expressed their gratitude, as residents of Moldovan cities needed such equipment a lot. The new tractors will be used for road maintenance and repair, street cleaning and waste disposal.
All in all, about two-thirds of all tractors in Moldova are produced at the Minsk Tractor Plant. During the ceremony, President Igor Dodon thanked President Alexander Lukashenko for the gift and reiterated his commitment to promote relations between the two countries.
