Moldova should be viewed as a platform for promoting Belarusian goods to the EU and Turkey, as stated by President of Moldova Igor Dodon in an exclusive interview to Main Air.
Chisinau currently ranks fourth in terms of Minsk’s trade turnover with the CIS countries. Belarus is consistently ranked among Moldova’s top ten trade and economic partners, annually accounting for a quarter of Moldovan wine exports and 10% of horticultural product exports. MTZ tractors and Belarusian trolleybuses are assembled and sold in Moldova.
During Igor Dodon’s first visit to Belarus, negotiations will focus on strengthening the cooperation.
The interview with Moldovan President Igor Dodon will be aired on Tuesday, July 11, in the project Actual Interview.
