Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to pay first official visit to Belarus tomorrow

Tomorrow Prime Minister Viktor Orban is expected to pay his first official visit to Minsk and meet with Alexander Lukashenko. The agenda includes trade and economic cooperation, implementation of joint projects, partnerships between Belarus and the EU, including in the format of the Eastern Partnership.

The parties will discuss the situation in the region and the world. Despite the solid foundation of bilateral relations, countries see great potential for strengthening them. So, according to the results of last year, the Belarusian-Hungarian trade turnover grew by a third - up to $ 253 million. The countries plan to double this figure. Among the promising tasks is the creation of joint ventures. The upcoming visit of the Hungarian leader to Belarus is expected to be an important stage in the development of bilateral relations.
