By Veronica Bouta: The Prime Minister of Belarus has visited BelAZ and tested the world's largest mining dump truck. Particular attention was paid to the measures to increase exports and expand the sales markets of the plant's products. Today the enterprise has already won 30% of the world market and is on the second place. Production volumes grow as well as the number of employees.

The prices for minerals resources have increased and thus raised the demand for quarry equipment. By the end of the year, exports can reach more than $ 740 million.

Today, dump trucks from Zhodino operate in 70 countries around the world. Most products are sent to Russia and the CIS countries. Over the past five years, a number of new markets have been developed in Romania, India and the Czech Republic. In the near future, the equipment will be delivered to Turkey.

By the way, BelAZ annually updates its line by about a third. At the moment a prototype of a robotic dump truck is being developed. The Siberian Coal Energy Company expresses a strong desire to test the first samples of this technology.
