Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus: "The supplies of American oil, which took place in early June, is a long-term program. We intend to actively work on the supply of hydrocarbons from other sources, including the Middle East and other countries. The economic side should be always considered. Diversification is a vital principle and policy of our state."

Belarus will soon complete internal state procedures for approving the candidacy for the post of our Ambassador to the United States of America. According to the American side, the candidacy of the US Ambassador to Belarus is currently being approved by the Senate.

Vladimir Makei and US Charge D'affaires in Belarus Jennifer Moore took part in the opening ceremony of the virtual museum exhibition "Heroes of Elbe Day" in the capital's gymnasium №5. An important historical event that unites Belarus and the United States will mark its 75th anniversary. Elbe Day became a symbol of the courage of peoples in the struggle for freedom and independence.
