Ambassador of India Saxena Pankaj visits Mogilev Region

Saxena Pankaj, the Ambassador of India to Belarus, paid a visit to Mogilev Region. The diplomat noted that Belarus and India have no serious obstacles to the development of bilateral relations. The cooperation received a new momentum when Alexander Lukashenko paid a working visit to New Delhi in September.

Pankaj Saxena also pointed out that Belarus and India have lots of prospects for cooperation and both countries are ready to expand contacts and strengthen the bilateral relations with new projects. Next year, a representative delegation of Indian businessmen will come to Mogilev to participate in an international investment forum.

Ruslan Strakhar, the Chairman of the Economy Committee of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee: "Today we are ready to demonstrate to the Indian party our latest developments in machine building and processing of agricultural products. We are confident that our economies can complement each other."

Among other projects, a new tourist facility - the Indian Courtyard - will open in Mogilev next year. There are plans to promote yoga in the region as well.
