Last spring the decision was made to conduct the experiment. Solar collectors have already appeared on the roof of one of the buildings. A wind generator will be installed there soon. It will become the main source of energy for lighting all the corridors and stairs of the multi-storey building. Most of the smart elements were developed by students under the guidance of teachers.
The project will reduce power consumption several times. Ordinary light bulbs will be replaced by LED lights, and the lamps will be equipped with special sensors that react to movement, sound and illumination.
Another invention of the university is the emergency alert system designed specifically for the elderly and people with disabilities.
