The recent purchase of the Belarusian IT company, one of the residents of the Hi-Tech Park, made by Google has become a precedent and a signal for the arrival of large foreign investors on the Belarusian market. It also has the potential to bring the Belarusian legal norms to international law in terms of quality. Experts point out that a deal of this scale is being conducted in the country for the first time.
It was the Hi-Tech Park that came up with the initiative of introducing the international standards into Belarusian law. Supported by the IT community and experts, it prepared a draft decree that contains the most popular instruments for conducting transactions based on international law.
