During his working trip to Chechersk District, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko drew attention to the need to comply with the timing of spring field work, BelTA informs.
Having arrived in Chechersk District, Alexander Lukashenko first of all asked in detail about the progress of spring field work and plans for the yield of various crops. The head of the local agricultural enterprise "Otor" informed the head of the state about the situation in the farm, while the Minister of Agriculture and Food Igor Brylo reported on the progress of the field work in the country as a whole.
According to the minister, spring crops are sown by almost 40% of the planned area. Grodno Region is the leader, with more than 55% of the planned area sown. Igor Brylo notes there are no problems with the availability of seeds and fertilizers, machinery and fuel.
