Prospects of bilateral relations between Minsk and Tbilisi discussed in Parliament today

As noted by Head of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich, the parties intend to intensify their contacts through the promotion of regional cooperation, new humanitarian and economic initiatives, including the creation of joint business centers for the active promotion of new industries. Belarus has invited Georgia to join the large-scale project Silk Road Economic Belt, which provides mutual investment and trade benefits.

The Parliament also agreed that close partnership between Belarus and Georgia will be a good example for other countries that are interested in peace and security in the region.
