One of Kazakhstan’s great industrial regions is planning to expand cooperation with Minsk, which ranges from the housing sector to international trade. Pavlodar Region officials were especially interested in Minsk’s urban development, including the system of separate collection of secondary raw materials, the creation of ‘silent’ tram rails, and the urban cycle infrastructure.
Also, Pavlodar Region is planning a significant upgrade of their tram fleet. In the nearest future, more than 20 trams from Belarus will be shipped to Kazakhstan.
Also today, Ekibastuz – one of Pavlodar Region’s biggest industrial centres – will be twinned with Minsk’s Partizansky District.
