The new mechanism was registered in the draft decree. Today it was discussed and unanimously supported by the expert council under the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade. Representatives of state bodies, business unions and the association of international pharmaceutical manufacturers were present. According to the document, manufacturers are required to register their selling price from next year, at the same time proving that it is justified to enter the Belarusian market. First of all, the cost of the medication in the countries of the EAEC, as well as Poland, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic is taken into account.
The registration procedure will take up to two months. There are about 40 names in the list. The success of the pilot project will be an argument to expand the list of drugs.
