Prime Minister of Turkey paying official visit to Belarus

The Prime Minister of Turkey is paying an official visit to Belarus. This is the first visit of the prime minister in the history of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Binali Yıldırım was welcomed in the government. The parties talked about the growth of mutual trade: it has come close to a billion dollars. Now the task is to balance the commodity flows, mainly due to the growth of Belarusian exports. Andrei Kobyakov notes the special interest of our country in creating joint ventures in the territory of the Republic of Turkey. Negotiations on the assembly of combines, as well as construction, communal, other special equipment are held by Gomselmash and Amkodor. MTZ is in search of a strategic partner: it is planned to open an assembly production of tractors under the brand Belarus.

Following the negotiations, the partners signed a number of agreements. Minsk and Ankara intend to cooperate more closely in the sphere of cargo transportation, promote investment protection and develop sport cooperation. About a dozen documents have been signed.
