The Gomelglass company has introduced a new line for coated glass production, which will allow meeting Belarus’ needs in this product and increasing exports. The company’s importers include EU countries, the Baltic states and Ukraine. The new line’s capacity stands at eight million square metres of glass per year. The modernisation is planned to have been completed by March 2017.
Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kalinin visited the company yesterday to familiarise himself with the new technologies. Besides, Anatoly Kalinin presented the Gomel mayor with a challenge pennant since the city had won the nomination Belarus’ Best Regional City in Terms of Sanitary Conditions and Beautification as of 2015.
